This is a terrric option for large or heavy dog breeds because we substitute aluminum frame pipes for our standard high grade poly resin PVC. The aluminum frame is superior in strength and prevents the bed from bowing in along the sides under the weight of very large dogs. The finish is satin gray as shown in the above photo. Please note that the corners and legs will remain a gray plastic. The heavy duty vinyl has shown to hold up better than any fabric we have tested in animal shelters, boarding kennels and in training facilities. 40 oz vinyl is a smooth, non-porous, easy to clean material similar to what is used on truck tarps and gym mats (pictured in Pacific Blue). Aluminum legs are available at no additional charge; as is our Cordura and Vinyl Weave fabric. Note: Tough cordura nylon canvas is most popular among individual dog owners due to durability. Textilene vinyl weave is favored by kennels due to ease of cleaning. Cordura is warmer (it doesn't breathe) and it will puddle if rained on.
