The Classic Cot is sturdy and durable based on the square aluminum legs with coated steel tubes design. The fabric over the cot wraps around the steel tubes, making it supportive and breathable for your dog. This cot is not recommended for dogs who are avid chewers. The Classic Cot utilizes the same high strength, abrasion resistant fabrics as the Standard and Aluminum Bed, but it is not covered under the Chewproof Warranty. The Classic Cot is covered under warranty against manufacturing defect.

There are three fabrics to choose from:

• Vinyl Weave is optimal for the outdoors as the open waterproof weave allows air and water to flow through, making the cot cool and dry. Its open weave style, however, keeps this fabric from being covered under the Chewproof  warranty.
   
• Cordura Nylon is abrasion resistant high-denier nylon. This canvas has great traction and is perfect for older dogs as it makes it easier to get on and off the bed. It’s also the best fabric choice for dogs with sensitive skin or allergies.
   
• Ballistic Nylon is durable like Cordura but with a smooth finish that won’t retain hair, making it easier to clean.
